About Women Empowered

Women Empowered (WE) is a non-profit organization that dares women to break the mold and make one another better. Our community of lifelong learners promotes healing and wholeness by empowering women to transform their lives for the better as they grow in their leadership, affirm one another’s gifts, and support each other in the journey.

WE inspires women to step out, be bold, and take action in order to fulfill their dreams. WE also encourages women to share what they learn to help others advance, and to give back to the local and worldwide community.

Give yourself the gift of transformation this year. Join Dr. D’s one-of-a-kind six-month coaching program that maximizes your potential, frees the leader within, and shatters every stereotype about women working together.

The “TransformHer Leadership Program for Pioneering Women” provides participants with six months of coaching sessions with Dr. D for life planning and personal brand development. The WE TransformHer Journey, delivered through cohort-based communities on Dr. D’s Tribe (drdtribe.mn.co), includes distinct tracks completed over one to four years.

Each TransformHer experience culminates in a weekend destination retreat at a beach location.

Programs

EVERYDAY SHE-ROSE

Our Everyday SheRose Award honors a woman who has overcome incredible obstacles to selflessly give back and uplift her community. Recipients are generally “unsung heroes” who work to improve their communities and the lives of those who live in them without seeking credit or accolades for their tireless efforts. These resourceful, resilient women often start out by funding their endeavors out of their own pockets.

Each time, Women Empowered (WE) selects one woman to receive this honor. The award includes a $5,000 donation to support the recipient’s work of direct service, philanthropy, or raising awareness around a particular community need. The awardee is also featured at WE’s annual fundraising event to bring further attention and attract additional resources to the cause.

WE-NEXT

WE-NEXT The goal of WE Next is to foster a movement of young female leaders who are connected globally while working locally on the frontlines of social change.
With an initial focus in the United States and Kenya, the WE Next program provides training, networking and a destination retreat for women under 30 interested in doing transformational work and finding solutions to social problems plaguing communities.

In essence, WE Next is developing the next generation of SheRose – activists and change makers who are transforming their communities. Join us in strengthening the pipeline of Everyday SheRose here and abroad by sponsoring a WE Next participant or contributing to any aspect of these powerful programs.

This leadership prom provides participants with six months of coaching sessions for life planning and personal brand development.

Self-paced courses on Dr. D’s online platform. Currently feature is SOAR, a stress management course that teaches women how to Slow Down, Open Their Minds, Awaken Their Senses, and Relish the Moment.
